As you may know, my bass teacher is none other than Freekbass. Recently, he started a Kickstarter campaign to help fund his new album and project. Things are going well, but it is time for the next push. Please take a moment to read on and contribute if at all possible.
The following is straight from Freekbass…
We’ve crossed paths at some point over the years, and I am writing, today, to ask for your support!
A couple of weeks ago, I launched a campaign to fund my next album. If I do not fulfill the campaign goal, I will unfortunately have to delay recording and production. I’ve experimented with many sounds over the last couple years, and this project is very special to me because its about coming full circle. Getting back to my roots. I need to get some creative stuff out of my head, and this album is that catalyst.
We are just over half way through the campaign and just under half way to reaching the $7000 album budget. The deadline to reach funding is Tuesday, Dec. 3rd, 7pm. We have some great support, but we still have a ways to go. If you have ever been a Freekbass fan, and have any intention of picking up the new album once released, I humbly ask that you consider doing just that, but a little in advance! The Kickstarter link, below, doesn’t take you to a donation site. This process is about backers, investing in a project they want to support and bring to life. You are essentially pledging your financial support, from $5 on up, to receive the finished album a few months later.
All the details are available on my Kickstarter page. There are many unique reward levels which I have offered for your support… rewards and opportunities you won’t find anywhere else. So if you have ever been a fan of what I am doing, please consider backing my next album. I’m so proud of the work we have done, already. I just need your help to finish and get the album into your hands. It’s about making art. It’s about supporting independent music. Below is the link:
Thanks for your time! Thanks for your support! I won’t disappoint you!
